About DIRK Boards

Dirk McCall is the artist that builds one of a kind works of art that you can surf.  Blending a joy for surfing and fine art; along with experience of over 20 years as an industrial painting contractor in both America and Europe, Dirk builds boards because it is fun.  Each board a sculpture, painting and craft all in one.  From early youth surfing the California coast to serving in the US Navy in distant oceans he finds calm in rough seas.  Educated at Cal Poly Humboldt and the Aarhus Kunstakademi in Denmark.
